Rina is coming to visit again!! So soon….. We’re all pretty excited. I’m the most excited, of course. I get to see her but it always feels like there’s just not enough time. We go to Dodgers games and do our L.A. thing. Sometimes she just wants to blow off steam in La Quinta. I’ll do whatever!!👍😉We have fun no matter what. I hear…. maybe…. just maybe…. the rest of the band is coming with her!! Full house, but we can handle it. The La Quinta house has plenty of room. Ladies will have the house as usual and I’ll be in the casita. It’s awesome that they’re so cool and casual around me. They roam the place in their “undies”, I guess I’ll say. It’s cool but, “whoa” sometimes. Not Rina of course. Her friends…. band mates…. I’m not really that uncomfortable, but still, they try to make me blush on purpose tho. “Rina!!! Call off Megumi! Come and get her!!” ….2 seconds of silence…. “No!” back. 🤔Ok…. I like it….😊
We have fun. Whenever the girls visit, it’s fucking fun. For real. I wrote a song that I recorded, but needs vocals. One of them can do it. We have a studio and they may just record their own version. They, Rina especially, keep a few things at the La Quinta house. Ever tried traveling with a guitar, or anything for that matter these days. So I/they have a whole deal set up. Drums, guitars, amps, a rack, anything to record professionally. They picked their own gear and modded it to the specs of their gear in Japan. So yayyyyyy! I have my stuff too. We actually jam together really well. I’ll have to post some of our recorded sessions.

So what’s the band? Who are they? What are they called? That’s a post for another time. Rina may post it herself. Who knows? This post is about my daughter coming to visit. If you know me at all, you’ll know which one is her. DubPirates is a family. It’s not just about the music. It’s about the artists, their interests, and their voice.
